For those wishing to explore on foot or cycling, the Mineral Tramways Coastal Path runs from North Portreath on the north coast to Devoran on the south coast, providing spectacular scenery. At sea, dolphins, basking sharks, seals and even whales can be seen. Just a few minutes’ drive away, is Tehiddy Country Park, a tranquil 250-acre site with woodlands, lakes, cycle trails, nature paths and the impressive golf course. The South Coastal Path leads on to Godrevy lighthouse and Gwithian beach. Numerous sub-tropical gardens attract visitors all year round including Trebah, Durgan and Trelissike. Sailing, wind surfing, scuba diving, canoeing, hiking, cycle hire and bird watching marshes are all available close by. Beach 2 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
