Wine is also available to purchase from the cellar door. Okehampton, the gateway to Dartmoor, is a short distance and as well as having a good selection of shops, it also gives good access onto Dartmoor to enjoy the dramatic landscape this National Park has to offer. Visit Okehampton Castle or enjoy a walk along the old railway to Meldon Reservoir, with beautiful views. There are stunning beaches at Woolacombe and Sandymouth. Enjoy a day out at Hartland and visit the lighthouse, Hartland Quay and the historic fishing village at Clovelly. The RHS gardens at Rosemoor are a delight and there are numerous NT properties in the surrounding area to explore. Charging points are available for electric cars.
